AARTI GUPTA,
Psy.D

Licensed Clinical Psychologist- Clinical Director and CEO

I was born, raised, and educated in the Chicagoland area. Marriage moved me to the Bay Area, and it has been a joy to explore the vibrant West Coast. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and my husband is a hardware engineer. We welcomed a baby girl to our world in July, 2018.

I earned my B.A. from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL where I majored in Psychology.  I then went on to earn my M.A. and Psy.D from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, focusing on Systems Therapy and Family Psychology. My clinical training has primarily been in community mental health centers and private practices.

All of my education, training, and experience culminated in the inception of TherapyNest — A Center for Anxiety and Family Therapy. I started this practice in 2015 with the hope of providing a more individualized experience for my clients. TherapyNest is family owned and operated by me and my husband, and we intend to keep it that way for as long as we possibly can. When you call to schedule or discuss something, you will not be put in contact with a receptionist or answering service — you will speak directly with me, which I hope feels more personalized and confidential.

Philosophically, I strive to be authentic — both personally and professionally. I believe that being genuine, straightforward, and unassuming helps me develop honest connections with my clients. I believe the therapeutic relationship should be dynamic, so I try and inject some fun and humor wherever I can along the way.

At TherapyNest, it is my mission to deliver to you the highest quality and most comprehensive clinical services in a warm and attentive environment. And where I feel it is necessary, I am glad to conduct therapy in your home or over video conferencing. I want to meet you where you are — both literally and therapeutically.
